Ordering a custom mosaic family sign is a collaborative and thoughtful experience. Each piece is built to reflect your story—rooted in place, history, and personal connection.
Here’s how it works:
1. Choose Your Name or Word
Whether it’s your family name, cottage name, or a meaningful word, this is the heart of your sign. You’ll tell us what you want the piece to say, and we’ll begin sketching the layout.
2. Select Your Style
We offer a range of color palettes inspired by the natural world—lake blues, birch whites, moss greens, sunrise reds. You can request a specific tone, or let us design something that speaks to your location or memory.
3. We Handcraft Each Letter
Each ceramic letter is formed by hand, textured and glazed in small batches. No molds, no shortcuts. This step takes time—roughly 2–3 weeks—to allow for sculpting, drying, kiln firing, and finishing.
4. Mosaic Assembly
Once the letters are finished, we assemble your sign with tile, glass, or natural materials that match your chosen aesthetic. Every mosaic is composed with care, making each piece truly one-of-a-kind.
5. Framing and Finishing
Your sign is mounted on a durable backer and framed in wood or metal depending on your selection. We seal and prep it for hanging—indoors or out.
6. Delivery or Pickup
We’ll ship your piece directly to you with care, or arrange for local pickup if you’re nearby. You’ll receive updates throughout the process so you always know where things stand.
Timeline: Most signs are completed within 4–6 weeks from the time of order. If you have a specific date in mind (like a wedding, anniversary, or family reunion), let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
